Where the Wild Wolves Wander
North Park Pack
The northern half of the North Cascades National Park is home to, in part, a small, unconventional pack of werewolves. This pack is led by Indigo Starbright, a second-generation hippie whose unorthodox practices don’t always sit well with other wolves. Although she is quite old for a werewolf and she appears laidback and even airheaded at times, her demeanor masks a wary and cunning wolf. Her control over her pack is absolute—partially because in her pack many offbeat werewolves have found themselves a home, and partially because she seems to inspire an almost fanatical devotion.
One of Sunny’s projects is to provide a haven for Ghost and lone wolves, some of whom have severe difficulty living in close proximity with humans. She and her pack loosely guide and police the Ghost wolves, dealing swiftly and harshly with any that disobey the social contract of the National Park wolves or who violate the Oath.
