Ross Lake National Recreation Area

The Area

The Ross Lake National Recreation Area (NRA) is a part of the greater North Cascades National Park Complex and splits the North Cascades National Park (NP) into two halves, the northern and southern. Ross Lake sees 725,000 visitors annually, many of whom come for the camping and hiking trails starting in the NRA and venturing into both the norther and southern half of the North Cascades NP.
